Craft Kendama - Shin Shin
One of the fun parts about operating our own wood shop is the ability to experiment with wild ideas. Craftsmen Ryan Plourd and Corey Sipes threw out the Kendama rule book to build something uniquely out of the box with this one. The Shin Shin is unlike any other Kendama you’ve ever played, yet surprisingly shreddable. The sarado is built with two pronounced grooves to lock in endless slingers. A reversed slip ring and massive base cup bump give a strikingly new tactile feel to ken flips. The spike is swooped for hyper sharpness. Each maple ken is paired with a white, yellow, and natty striped tama sporting a red top dot, and coated in our updated silk paint. There’s only a very small batch made, so if you’re a player who enjoys rare Kendamas and unconventional features, the Shin Shin may be for you.
